Our Corporate Responsibility

At Elementus we understand that our business should be about more than just profit.



A successful business has a responsibility to its customers, its shareholders, its employees, its suppliers, its partners, the community and the environment.



We have created a robust culture where all these stakeholders are integrated into our business decisions.



We summarise our successes under the four headings of Our Workplace, The Environment, Our Marketplace and Our Local Community.

Some of our achievements in 2009

• ISO 14001 accreditation maintained
• We hosted two work experience students from local schools
• We formalised a ‘Corporate Friend’ partnership with The Forest School, Horsham, West Sussex
• £1140 was donated directly to charity
• £2837 was raised through organised events and initiatives such as the St Catherine’s Hospice Dragon Boat Race, tuck-box and charity days
• £2023 was sponsored by staff to colleagues raising money for their own charities
• More than 30 hours of support was given to the local schools through enterprise initiatives
• We held a community day at the Springboard Project
• Local charities have received free or at cost services
• Introduction of new energy services
• We won the Gatwick Diamond Green Business award for Corporate Responsibility 2009
• We were finalists for the PFM Awards for the Award for Partners in FM Education
